Get your business organized & in the fast lane with my TOP secrets to marketing your business FASTER & the tools to help you stay on track!
Part entrepreneur, part homeschooling Mom of 5, & part photographer. You could say that I know a thing or two about wearing multiple hats. My mission is simple: to show you how to make $$$ online without sacrificing all of your precious time.
I do EVERYTHING in my business from content creation, product creation, marketing & advertising, customer support, and social media scheduling.
I know, I know. I should probably hire someone at this point, but the truth is: I enjoy doing it all!
So when I say that I do-it-all, it means that I have to find ways to do it quickly and efficiently. Otherwise, I might as well throw in the towel and head back to a 9-5.
After I have created a content plan for the month, it becomes very simple and quick to plan out my social media calendar and schedule my upcoming posts.
Disclaimer: Affiliate links are used in this post. I only promote products that I love & know that you will too!
First things first, you need to have some sort of marketing plan set into motion.
What products/services/content will you be promoting this month? Knowing this will help put a better social media schedule into action.
If you have tutorials and blogs based around the product you are highlighting for that week/month, then make sure you tie those into your weekly schedule.
How else will your fans and customers know about your sales and promotions if you don’t put it out there? If you don’t have any content for the promotion or area you are wishing to cover, then it’s time to create some!
This could be in the form of a blog post, video, client testimonial, or even a podcast. Whichever resonates with your audience, create it baby!
I teach all of this inside Fast Track Marketing. It’s my system for getting ALL of my marketing tasks organized & scheduled so that I am doing less work in my business (saving me time & money in the long run).
So now that you have you plan, you can start pulling all of your marketing around the content that you can share and create.
If your goal is to highlight a sale or promotion, then posting content around this will tie in all of your marketing efforts together and flow seamlessly with what you share.
Instead of posting on the fly, scheduling out your posts can make your marketing efforts more organized.
I am a visual person, so it helps me to see my posts laid out for a week and shuffle them around if needed. After I have planned out my content with my marketing calendar, I plug it into Buffer to schedule out my posts and it helps me tremendously to see my posts lined up and in order before publishing.
Whatever works for you, find a way and create efficiency in your business!
Marketing should be about getting the word out about your products and services, but don’t forget the one rule of social media: it’s social.
Remember to keep your posts lively, engaging, and fun!
Ask your audience questions, share funny experiences, and don’t forget to engage.
Your following will have an easier time interacting with you and your brand/business when you humanize yourself. Make your brand relatable and fun and you’ll be sure to win them over that will lead to more success & sales in the long run.
Now comes the simple part: scheduling your content.
Instead of logging into your various accounts throughout the day, using a social media scheduler is not only a time-saver, but an essential to your marketing game!
I personally use Buffer for scheduling my Twitter and Facebook posts. While you can schedule your posts on Facebook itself, I find that logging into my account takes more time and distracts me when I post from there (guilty mindless scroller over here!).
With Buffer, I can easily switch between my social media accounts to schedule a week’s worth of posts without even logging into social media.
The best part is that it’s FREE for up to 3 social accounts and 10 posts per account. If you need more scheduling flexibility, then also have pad plans that offer more accounts and posting options.
For Pinterest, Tailwind is my saving grace.
I typically aim for scheduling pins over the course of a month so I don’t have to be a slave to pinning on my phone throughout the day. Not only that, Tailwind has helped me boost my traffic and gain more followers in a short amount of time!
They has a FREE trial for your first 100 pins, but it will only take less than half of that to find this tool totally worth the price!
Whatever you do, using scheduling tools and apps should be a high priority if you want to make the most out of your social media scheduling, especially if you don’t have a lot of extra time on your hands like me.
Social media scheduling doesn’t have to be difficult or time-consuming, especially when you have a content plan put into motion.
And once you get the hang of it, you’ll too have a well-oil social media scheduling machine working for you!
